Understanding the Dual Nature of Money, and it’s Balance

Money has a dual nature:

It is a natural form of democracy

It is a form of social control

This is a critical dynamic equilibrium and when it is out of balance, social structure extremes, dysfunction and suffering is the outcome.

When you buy something or purchase a service, it is a democratic vote for it to be in the world. Real currency is also anonymous and relative in value. Money spends regardless of who’s pocket it comes from. If I have a billion dollars, I am still poor if most others have a trillion. This is a runaway train that is balanced by the social control aspects of money.

However the voting power of money has been actively and passively reduced to almost zero, concurrently with actual political voting power being reduced to zero

The voting power of money has been dis-empowered by the following methods:

1) Printing Fake or Imaginary Money

2) Only Allowing Investors to Invest in Companies NOT Projects

Company thinking is so entrenched that investors can’t even imagine investing in a project instead of a company. Investing money in a project is economic democracy. Investing in a company is not unless an investor has enough investment for control. It is easy to see that our current system of investing only empowers elite investors, and this is by design. Using SAP and having real oversight, it would be quite possible for everyday investors to invest in multi-company projects where their investment dollars are focused on the project they choose to support. This gives investors real choice instead of fake choice.

3) Our Money Lending / Credit / Debt Based Economy

Debt money is money caught in a circular flow and is taken out of the voting process. When a person relies on credit they often have no voting power at all. Mortgages are the greatest anti-democratic technique ever invented

4) Our Retirement System

When people feel the need to save most of their free monetary voting power for their retirement, it takes away their voting power for almost their entire lives. They may indeed die before voting. It also ensures only older elite citizens get to vote at all.

5) The Registered Retirement Savings Plan System

If governments stopped giving the tax sheltering associated with RRSPs, this system would literally fall apart tomorrow. It is a form of forced investment and has become the greatest gambling system mankind has ever invented. Nobody would put a cent into the products offered if there was a viable alternative. The RRSP system has destroyed the investment system. This in turn has led to grotesquely inflated real estate prices, as real estate is the only thing most investors still believe in. Homes now cost 5 lifetimes worth of labour at real salaries. This in turn has destroyed any hope for the future of cities as properties are bought up for their investment value and rented out or flipped.

6) Monopoly

Its not only a board game. Your vote doesn’t matter if there is only one candidate.

7) Replacing Paid Services with “Free” Services

Free services seem so democratic, but in essence they are exactly the opposite. When something is free that means somebody else is supporting it and somebody else is determining whether it even exists. Somebody else is determining whether you can see it. Sadly who these somebodies are is a mystery, as are their motivations.
